POSITION SUMMARY

As a Business Development Manager your main responsibilities will be to identify business opportunities via online research and propose new, additional services &/or products to our basic business unit of flight tickets. For the in-house built products you will need to cooperate with our technical teams and own the project end-to- end from defining the business needs, to launching, monitoring & optimizing its progress/results. For external partnerships you will be expected to create & nurture relationships with potential business partners. You will work as part of a team and report to the Commercial Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify new business opportunities via online research & customer feedback
  • Identify, build & nurture relationships with existing and potential business partners while managing existing accounts
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product offering, competition and the latest industry news/trends
  • Create specs and work with our IT & product development teams in order to communicate project’s requirements
  • Monitor the launch of the new product/additional service and provide support when needed
  • Define the KPIs and monitor the progress of the additional product/service through monthly reporting
  • Evaluate performance of products/services and prioritize activities in order to maximize value
  • Engage in meetings & deliver presentations to the management team about the progress of your job when needed
  • Engage in online and email Marketing activities when needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor or/& Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing & Communications or any other related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Business development, Marketing or Project management roles ideally in an e-commerce company (online industry)
  • Self-driven and proactive
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills
  • Experience working with KPIs
  • Experience in analysing data & producing reports to measure the impact of additional products & services on our business
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Greek
