THE POSITION

The jobholder, member of the Information Technology team, will report to the Business Applications Manager and will be responsible to build, develop, and support the portfolio of digital services used by Toyota Hellas (TH). The job holder will be the key IS resource driving the development of TH’s digital presence within Greece, working with the Marketing department, as a true business partner. To achieve this, he/she will bring the knowledge and approach required to deliver class leading digital solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the TH Management team, Marketing and Central IS to define, continuously evaluate and evolve the Digital vision and strategy for TH.
  • Build strong trust relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Align priorities and plan to deliver the agreed digital solutions.
  • Own the delivery of these digital solutions as per agreed budget, timeline and quality.
  • Work with the Country IS manager to develop the digital toolkit for TH based upon the agreed Digital Strategy (including partners, technical platforms and processes) and aligned with the Group strategy.
  • Encourage focused innovation that has the potential to benefit the business.
  • Continually analyse and challenge the services provided and the way they are provided by the department and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure quality, standards and required processes are met in all respect.
  • Ensure that local solutions are compliant with Inchcape Digital Standards at all times.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1. Educated to degree level in computer science or a similar discipline.
2. Relevant experience of 5-7 years:

  • Proven track record in managing, developing and testing Digital services and applications (internet applications, social, mobility, BI, data analytics, CRM, digital media).
  • Web Expert with proven web design experience (incl. user journeys and personalisation), understanding in particular best practice of SEO, and PPC with search engines.
  • Experience of web development methodologies, processes and procedures.
  • An excellent understanding of development/programming frameworks and languages particularly. NET & SQL.
  • Experience of deployment of cloud based solutions (for applications and for infrastructure e.g. Google Apps, MS365).

3. Superior social media knowledge with high proficiency in programs (such as of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, social CRM).

Desirable skills/experience

PRINCE2 certification to at least foundation level.
Good understanding of contemporary IS software development trends and technologies.
Previous experience in website development, automotive or financial services

Soft Skills

High level of motivation, with flexibility and personal commitment
Good negotiating and influencing skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex data and arguments in a way that is accessible to everyone
Fluent in English
